Reporting to the Executive Director and Vice-President of the International Department, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of international marketing and recruitment strategies, with a primary focus on attracting international students to Sprott Shaw College's healthcare programs.

Responsibilities

Assists the Executive Director and the Vice-President in reaching the goals of the International Team
Promotes and raises awareness of SSC’s educational programs to international markets, with a focus on international recruitment for the healthcare programs
Proposes team goals and budgets aligned with international market needs and healthcare program targets.
Develop long-term and short-term marketing and recruitment plans, including strategies specifically aimed at recruiting international students.
Completes all recruitment and marketing activities set and agreed to by the team
Develops and manages business partnerships, including, but not limited to, agencies, institutions and schools, with emphasis on partnerships that support international healthcare student pathways
Handles inquiry calls, walk-ins, leads on Lead Centre and sets appointments
Creates leads to Lead Centre and updates them when needed
Schedule admission appointments, conduct admission interviews and follow up with prospective students, including those pursuing nursing credentials
Completes enrollment applications with students and collects registration fees
Assists students in overcoming obstacles and helps them in the enrollment process, providing guidance tailored to international applicants, including those entering Nursing programs
Ensure all completed files are provided to the Administrator for input into FAST and review files completed by Advisors.
Follows up on non-registered or inactive prospective students
Keeps direct supervisors informed about any student concerns, student challenges, issues and situations that may impact retention or enrollment, especially for international nursing students
Provides exemplary customer service in all interactions
Conducts training programs designed for agencies to enhance their understanding, promotion, and recruitment of students for SSC healthcare programs.
Attend international team meetings, training and workshops
Updates regular reports and provides special reports requested by supervisors

Qualifications and Education

Post-secondary education required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a similar qualification in healthcare, whether obtained locally or internationally, is required.
Minimum two (2) years of related working experience in international recruitment, marketing, advising or program promotion.
Strong knowledge of healthcare programs preferred.
Ability to travel within British Columbia
