Reporting to the Vice President of Admissions, the Executive Director of Admissions (EDOA) provides strategic guidance, support and leadership to Admissions Advisors and supports and optimizes student enrollment practices. This position also works closely with the Marketing Department to ensure that the materials and resources that are available for prospective students are consistent and relevant, reflecting Sprott Shaw's values.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance, training and support to campus Admissions Advisors
- Oversee performance management of Admissions Advisors which includes but not limited to:
- Assist Campus Directors in Admissions Advisor’s annual performance evaluations
- Providing performance goal settings as required
- Providing performance improvement plans as required
- Monitor the following performance criteria. This includes but not limited to:
- “starts” to ensure that Admissions Advisors are achieving the target numbers (budgets)
- Monitor daily activity, conversions, sales, call volume, follow ups
- Ensure adherence to quality standards by evaluating Sprott Shaw College’s admission calls in accordance to the Quality Control Legend
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process of campus positions where relevant
- Liaise with Campus Directors and leadership on any admissions staffing opportunities for improvement or areas of focus
- Execute professional development days for Admissions Advisors, staff workshops and strategic planning meetings
- Provide initial orientation, on-boarding and continuous training for Admissions Advisors
- Participate in weekly meetings with Admissions Advisors and the Marketing Department
- Contribute to the agenda for Director and Admissions Advisor meetings
- Provide support for Campus Directors to ensure Admissions Advisors understand their job duties and requirements
- Observe and assess the general organization and satisfaction level of both students and staff at the campus
- Stay informed and up to date with all company and external bodies’ requirements such as PTIB, BCCNM, SkillsTradesBC, Student Aid, etc
- Offer assistance on special projects as required
- Present industry comparisons and results of employee and student feedback to facilitate strategic planning and decision making
- Travel within the Province of BC as required

Qualifications and Education
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in CRM
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience
- Minimum five (5) years of sales experience
- Experience in the education industry is preferred
- Undergraduate degree/diploma
- Knowledge of post-secondary education procedures and policies
- Knowledge of financial models would be beneficial
- Reliable means of transportation is required
