Sprott Shaw College is looking for a dedicated and outgoing individual to join our international team in downtown Vancouver.
International Advisors effectively promote Sprott Shaw’s programs and services to prospective international students.
Responsibilities
- Promote and raise awareness of the College’s educational programs to international markets
- Develop and manage business partners including but not limited to agencies, institutions and schools
- Assist students in overcoming obstacles and help them in the enrolment process
- Respond to prospective students’ telephone and internet inquiries
- Handle inquiry calls, walk-ins and setting appointments
- Schedule admission appointments, conduct admission interviews, and follow up with perspective students
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Keep direct supervisor informed about any student concerns, student challenges, issues and situations that may be causes for students to be dis-enrolled, drop-out
- Participate in grad functions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Sales and marketing background in international education
- At least two (2) years of related working experience
